One of the greatest mysteries of the universe has finally been solved!! How to parallel park! How many great parking spots have you passed up over the years? Probably lots and lots. After watching this video you will never have to pass up a great parking place.

If you are like most people, it takes several attempts before you are finally settled into the parking spot. Most end up backing into the curb. They pull ahead for another attempt but end up hitting the curb again. Lots of people just give up and drive off to find a head-in parking spot.

Now, by watching this short video, you will be able to parallel park like an expert. It doesn't matter if you drive a Mini Cooper, mini van, crew cab work truck or a delivery truck, this parallel parking technique will work for you every time. With practice, you can park in spots with only 18 inches in front and 18 inches in back of your car. Whether you're a cab driver in New York City, or a tourist in San Francisco, this parking maneuver will be one of the best things you will ever learn.

In the first part of the video you will learn how to parallel park on the right side of the street. This is the side we park on 99% of the time. The video concentrates mostly on this parking technique. Next, the video teaches you how to parallel park on the left side of the street. In almost all cases you will use this technique on a one-way street. Parking on this side of the street is usually a little harder just because we don't do it very often. The last part of the video teaches you how to park on a hill safely. When parking on a hill you must turn you wheels a certain way so that in case the car slips out of gear it will not roll out into traffic.

Also, there is a two page graphic that shows you visually what is in the video. We call this graphic the Take-Along-Tips. Just print the two pages, look them over or carry them with you in the car when you are practicing your parking.

Are you a high school student taking driver training, getting ready to take your drivers test? Almost all states in the U.S. require that you perform a parallel parking maneuver for the examiner in order for you to pass your test. If you fail at this maneuver you will be penalized several points. This could be the difference between pass or fail, license or no license. So, take the time to watch the video, look at the Take-Along-Tips, then, go to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles where you will be taking your exam and practice parallel parking in their space. After a few times you will be comfortable parallel parking and can do it for the examiner with complete confidence.

We at Parallel-Parking.com hope this will be of value to you. If you take the time to watch the video, study it, and go out and practice it, you will have learned a new skill that will help you for the rest of your life. Please drive safely.
